I am a member of the Steering Committee of the Trinity International Development Initiative (TIDI). As part of my work with TIDI, I have:

  • Conducted a public interview on International Women's Day with Dr. Daw Khin Mar Mar Kyi on her documentary 'Dreams of Dutiful Daughters' about illegal Burmese migrants in Thailand
  • Convened a panel discussion on gender and development for Africa Day 2015 with Lilian O. Ajayi, Executive Director/Founder of Global Connections For Women Foundation (GC4W); Faiza Mohamed, Director, Equality Now; Minna Salami, founder of Ms. Afropolitan
  • Chaired a panel discussion on the documentary 'Forbidden Voices' about female bloggers in repressive regimes
  • Acted as discussant at the annual Africa Day 2014 discussion on land grabbing attended by the President of Ireland.
  • Represented Trinity at meetings with the World Bank and contributed to the Irish consultation process for the World Humanitarian Summit.
